“The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
Mahatma Gandhi

Of all the charities, the BSPCA is definitely the one closest to my heart.  I got the chance to meet some of the amazing staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to protect the animals of Botswana.

This was by far one of the most incredible shoots that I have done, but not without its difficulty.  Trying to get these cute animals to sit still for their shot, was definitely not easy.  But with the help of everybody there, we managed to get the job done.

I encourage you all to visit the BSPCA when you have a moment, or to volunteer if you can.  Even if it is just for an hour to share some love.  Their aim is to raise awareness of the abuse of animals in Botswana, to teach and foster good pet parenting practices, and to promote spay and neuterprograms with the goal of eradicating the need to euthanize healthy and adoptable companion animals.  For more information please visit the BSPCA Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/bspcagaborone/
